packaging engineer plays an important role that includes the following responsibilities:

1. plan and conduct the design and development of new and revised packaging for outgoing products and components in accordance with enterprise quality standards, and national standards or international standards

2. direct vendor design and development of new packaging for incoming products and components

3. ensure that packaging is within compliance of applicable standards and/or carrier guidelines and regulations

4. direct required pre-shipment packaging testing to release new or revised packages
指导包装测试并以此发布新包装或更改的包装；
5. prepare and issue packaging engineering drawing or other packaging specifications

6. recommend qa control limits and procedures for packaging components inspection
就包装来料检验程序和控制提供建议；
7. assess and resolve packaging problems arising in production or in the field

8. initiate studies designed to minimize packaging total costs

9. develop and maintain effective relationships with current and potential packaging component vendors

requirements/qualifications:
任职资格要求：
1. bachelor’s degree in packaging engineering and with 5-10 years’ experience in packaging design and development field

2. strong knowledge of various packaging materials and packaging processes

3. strong knowledge of engineering graphics (autocad and artioscad)

5. excellent computer skills (office)
